This Privacy Policy explains how Battery Monitor ("the app", "we", "our") handles information when you use it. The short version: the app has no internet access permission at all, so it is technically incapable of sending any data anywhere. Everything described below happens entirely on your device.
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, usage data, or device data with us or with any
third party. The app has no servers, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting service, and no advertising SDK. There
is nothing "phoning home" — the app does not request the INTERNET permission from Android, so it
has no technical means of transmitting data even if it were designed to.
All figures the app shows you (battery current, voltage, temperature, charge history, capacity estimates, per-app usage estimates) are calculated on your device, from your device, for your own viewing, and are stored only on your device.

Battery readings, charge-session history, and your preferences (design capacity, alarm threshold, theme, language, electricity rate) are stored locally on your device only, using Android's standard on-device storage mechanisms. This data:
The app displays no advertising and includes no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs of any kind. We do not share data with third parties because we do not collect any to share.
Because the app collects no data from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any user. The app is a general-purpose utility not specifically directed at children.
Since no data is collected by us in the first place, there is nothing for us to delete on request. To remove all data the app has stored on your own device, uninstall the app or clear its storage from Android Settings → Apps → Battery Monitor → Storage & cache → Clear storage.
If a future version of this app changes what data it accesses or how (for example, adding cloud backup or analytics), this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change accordingly.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms and to the terms of the platform (Google Play) you downloaded it from.
You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except as permitted by applicable law; use the app in any way that violates applicable law; or attempt to interfere with the app's normal operation on your device.
Battery Monitor provides estimates, not certified measurements. Battery current/voltage readings come from your device's own hardware and operating system APIs and are subject to the accuracy limits of that hardware. Capacity, health, and per-app battery-usage figures are statistical estimates derived from your usage history — they are informational only and are not a substitute for manufacturer diagnostics, warranty service, or professional assessment of your device's battery. Do not rely solely on this app to make safety-critical decisions about a battery you suspect is damaged, swollen, or otherwise unsafe — stop using such a battery and consult a qualified technician or the device manufacturer regardless of what this app reports.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its estimates will be accurate for your specific device.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, battery, or device, arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
The app, including its design, code, and content, is owned by its developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. This license does not grant you any ownership rights in the app.
We may update the app or these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page.
This license terminates automatically if you fail to comply with these terms. You may terminate it at any time by uninstalling the app.
